Q: Do the shorts run small?

No they fit as they should. I ordered a size Large, I am 34" waist and they fit perfect on me. I wear them everyday.

Q: Are these shorts low rise or standard rise (distance from crotch to waist)? I am 5ft 7in male, am trying to find a low or medium rise running shorts

I'm also 5ft 7in, and these shorts sit high, but not quite at the waist.
