A lot of spatter is typical with arc welding, that’s why we wear leathers.

Q: Can these work with gas welding?

No the shielding is in the stick

Q: Can this be used for dc? The ad says ac and dc but the packaging says ac.

I’m pretty sure it’s AC. That’s how I use it. Awesome machine. So small and light weight and powerful. I’ve welded 2 3/8” oil field pipe with it.

Should say so in listing. Harbor freight if need it faster approx same price but use your coupons yawl get.
