I'm updating my review below - The Elixir definitely stops the itching. I use it throughout the day in spots, and all over after I shampoo while my hair is still wet. It is expensive, but it seems worth the money.The Royal Oils Scalp Elixir feels good on my scalp, and has a nice mild minty smell and tingly feel to it. The applicator is spray on and is shaped to allow you to get it directly down onto your scalp without wasting it on your hair. It is expensive, and that is why I believe the value for money is not there. I will look for a similar product or try to mix one up using essential oils. I will say that the Elixir does minimize the itching.

As the seasons change, both my skin and scalp can become itchy and this product has helped me so much! I love how the smell is fresh and it does an immediate job at easing the itchiness. I usually put this in after my shower when my hair is damp and spray it, and massage it in. I don't do use this every night, maybe every other day and works well.

I absolutely love this product. I have had dry scalp issues for years and felt like I had tried everything under the sun but I came across this product and started using it consistently. It has made such an incredible difference on my scalp and I can go longer without having to watch my scalp bc it’s actually moisturized and feels clean. I have caucasian hair and dreadlocks. I also have terrible dandruff. Like, it's probably more than just dandruff but I've never been to a dr to have it treated. It extends a small bit beyond my hairline and my hair is always covered in flakes. It was easier to hide or brush away when my hair was straight but now that I have dreadlocks all the flakes just stick to my locks and trying to brush them off just creates more. It makes my dreads look dirty no matter what I do. I always have to wear my hair back with a wide headband so it covers all the flakes. After reading the reviews on this product and other people with similar issues I decided to try it out. Oh my god. Instant, immediate relief! I expected to have to use it a while before it did me any good. I sprayed it on my scalp around my dreads and it just immediately dissolved all the flakes on my scalp and dreads! The left side of my head is shaved and just as dry and flakey as the dreaded side so I sprayed a couple spritzes and rubbed it around my exposed scalp too and there really are NO MORE FLAKES! I'm only sad I didn't know about this product sooner, it would have saved me a lot of embarrassment. It's so nice to be able to wear my dreads down again!

This works magic. I try not to be out of this cream as well as the elixir. It soothes the itching and decreases my dry scalp. It has a minty scent.
